How to catalog your books (and maybe let go of a few in the process)
In the age of simple, graphically manicured websites, librarything.com stands out as a relic from decade’s past. In the eternal quest for a home full of only things I find useful and beautiful I had decided months ago that I no longer (and never really) needed 22 square decorative pillowcases that I had made in Bali in 2001. I had posted them in vain on both eBay and Craigslist; apparently no one else needed 22 Balinese pillowcases, until Freecycle!
Who makes the best paper notebook?
If you get dreamy-eyed in the notebook aisle of any fine paper store, this podcast will be the most exhilarating 23 minutes of your day. Internet entrepreneur Kevin Rose interviews Brady Dowdy of The Pen Addict in Who Makes the Best Paper Notebook. They geek out on details of notebooks that you didn’t even know existed.
