This article is worth sharing if for no other reason than three people sent it to me.  The New York Times’ Aging Parents With Lots of Stuff, and Children Who Don’t Want It explores exactly that issue.  As aging parents downsize, their beloved objects don’t necessarily find a warm welcome in the homes of their children.  With the rise of minimalism’s popularity, less and less, children have the space or desire for their parents' things.

The only thing that feels better than recycling is getting paid to do it. A reader shared with me a great resource for selling your unused printer cartridges.  One hook: they must be unopened in the box.  I see a lot of these in offices where my client has recently (or not so recently) bought a new printer and the old cartridges are incompatible.

My client and I are so close to taking a gorgeous “after” shot of this office - we started in 2013!  No it hasn’t technically taken us this long to do the job.  We worked for about 20 hours back then, and largely fixed the systemic “behind the scenes” problems, and even cleared the entire extra table and most of the desk.  

It’s been a while since I posted a video but I’m back with what is already one of my favorites. It’s my first before and after video! My personal favorite videos are the ones shot on-site in clients' homes and offices. This one was filmed in Houston, TX by my client as we just triumphed over her kitchen table that had been covered in paper for years. You’ll see the before pictures in here too.

If you ever spend your spare time wondering “Hmm, I wonder what Kacy Paide is doing right now,” hold this picture in your head.  When in doubt, I’m sorting receipts. This photo isn’t to indict any particular client because her pile of receipts could belong to pretty much any of my clients.
