How I keep track of my reading list
You may have gathered by now that I keep absolutely every piece of information in Evernote. That is true for all but one category: books to read. My Pinterest account slightly predates my Evernote account.
Could you have only 33 items in your closet?
I’d like to think I’m pared down (because, truly, I am!), but if I actually counted the shoes, jeans, tops, dresses, coats and more, it would surely amount to the triple digits. That’s certainly not excessive, but Courtney Carver of the Be More With Less blog has pared her closed down to just 33 items.
What I’ve been organizing lately - a graphic design studio
A common question I hear is “how long do you typically work with a client?” Most clients start with a package of time, be it 9 or 18 hours, and usually work into a long-term relationship. Others only need a nudge and some fresh ideas, and my two hour intro session suffices.
How I used Evernote this week to keep track of my talk attendees
Each time I give a talk I hand out these slips to gather information from attendees who want to share it. (Public speakers, you’ll want to copy this!) They help me to build my newsletter list, bring on new clients, answer follow-up questions, and book further speaking engagements.
