How secure is Evernote?
The question I am most asked about Evernote is some version of, “How safe is my data?” It’s a question worth asking, considering for many, Evernote has become a bottomless container for proprietary, sensitive, and irreplaceable data. My entire life is on Evernote. I shudder to think of the repercussions for my business should everything vanish.
How I used Evernote this week to support my yoga practice
I practice Ashtanga yoga. In Ashtanga, we practice the same sequence of poses class after class, with essentially no departure from the “Primary Series". This is one of the most unique and inspiring “day in the life” posts I have ever read, stressing habits over routines.

Maria Popova reads the greatest works of literature and non-fiction (and blogs about them) so we don’t have to! In her recent post The Difference Between Routine and Ritual she essentially provides elegant Cliff’s Notes on Anne Lamott’s book Stitches: A Handbook on Meaning, Hope, and Repair. Popova, fascinated by routines and rituals, illuminates the important difference between the two in her reflection on Lamott’s Stitches...
How a reader used Evernote this week to organize my newsletters
Keeping tabs on my newsletter subscribers list is pretty uneventful, though this past week something jumped out at me in a sea of email lists. One smart subscriber had entered their Evernote email address instead of their personal email address! Brilliant!
