I LOVE a gift card and use them up pretty quickly (which is why it baffles me as to why I find so many unused gift cards in my work as an Organizer.) I knew you could mail them in to cardpool.com, but only just learned that Cardpool also accepts cards at thousands of Gift Card Exchange kiosks & cashier-assisted locations formerly owned by Coinstar. I have 17 options within 5 miles of my home in Silver Spring, MD. They will take a hefty percentage, but 80% of your cards' value in cash is worth more to you than the wad of plastic sitting in your desk drawer.
