Who’s that crazy person with 6 lists on their refrigerator door? A professional organizer who is about to go to Bali for 3 weeks. I found this video on my phone while organizing photos from our August trip. The closer we got to our trip date, the faster the lists multiplied, though each became essential. My mom also joined us and my sister’s family in Bali. When helping my mom prepare days earlier, I couldn’t believe she didn’t have a single list going! (The list genes come from my dad.) She was immediately given a mini version of my spread.

I filmed this at 5:30am (early for me!) so pardon the slight rambling, but I hope this will give you some ideas on how to efficiently and thoroughly prep for a short or long trip. Perhaps even some can help even without a trip on the calendar.

The lists:

  • Bring to Bali / Buy for Bali

  • Nic (husband) to dos

  • Auto-payments while we’re gone (this came with us)

  • Workout calendars (this came with us)

  • To-dos sorted by last 3 days at home

  • Post-Bali to-dos
