The joy of vintage office supplies

In a magnificently stuffed antique shop in Royal Oak, Maryland (Eastern Shore) last week I was reminded of how much I love vintage office supplies.  They combine my love of all things patina, quality, age, and good design with office organizing.  I gasped when amongst the thousands of odd and beautiful objects, a vintage brass letter sorter jumped into my arms.  Since I already have one vintage letter sorter, sadly, I put this one back on the shelf.  Next time you run to Amazon or Staples, expand yourself to include thrift stores, vintage shops, and Etsy in your search for that perfect office supply.  If there’s a more beautiful letter sorter out there thank this one that would function just as well as any step rack, I’ve never seen one!
