My 3 Words for 2015

Back in December I shared with you Chris Brogan's blog post on how and why he picks three words to shape his year, in place of a resolution.  Immediately upon reading it, two words came to me: green and reach.  Then I stalled for a month.

The third jumped out at me just yesterday as I was watching this video on how a man spent an entire year offline.

So, here are my three words for 2015:

Green - This is twofold: I want to eat more green foods and spend more time outdoors.

Reach - I want to get creative in reaching more people with my work.

Offline - I won't be taking a year off the internet, heck, probably not even a weekend, but I want to choose offline as much as I choose online.

What are your words?  Only have one or two? Please share in the comments here!

An existential kick in the pants to buy less & play more

"Your Lifestyle Has Already Been Designed"IMG_4675 could also have been entitled "Why we buy unnecessary fluff instead of take walks in parks."  This eye opener of an article isn't to be enjoyed, so as much as it is a call to action to design healthier happier days.

Even though I have never have had a typical 9-5, 35 years in workaholic Washington hasn't left me unscathed. I too am guilty of its said side effects: choosing off-duty mindlessness over quality time with myself and loved ones.
